April 2019: Auspicious Directions and Timings!

From April 5 – May 4, the new month of Earth Dragon (Wu Chen) will take off. Wu Chen is the image of a connected mountain range. Any ‘Greedy Wolf’ mountain, as we say in Feng Shui, will fit in this picture. This kind of mountain will prosper health and improve the status- and authority aspect of people living near it. As this mountain is connected to other mountains or is part of a greater mountain range, ‘connecting and networking’ is advised this month.’ As we are in the last, earth-month of the three spring season months, the Greedy Wolf mountain is a lush green mountain range.

What to expect in April!

As Wu Chen is about powerful and charismatic leadership, we expect that bigger projects and even the bigger purpose of the world will get the attention! Does this mean that politicians are heading towards ‘thinking about the people and their country’ instead of pursuing their party or personal career in the political arena? We will all see it happening in April!

The important lesson for this month is to focus on how to make the world a better place! Old wisdom and traditional methods are asked to reach this goal. Morals and ethics are asked for!

If you have Wu Chen in your Day palace, and you want to ‘experience’ yourself: get on the road, in the car or plane and find a beautiful Greedy Wolf Mountain, that stands for nobility, reputation and long life), for instance in Japan, the famous Mount Fuji.

Chart of April 2019

Auspicious directions for April 2019: the following auspicious direction(s) for each month, we use for long term planning. They are your direction(s) to prepare, as part of your bigger year plan.

Sit with your back towards the west direction: to work, read, meditate and experience that you are backed with extra Qi (energy). Being with these directions, your Broad Band connection to the Universe will be running at High Speed.

The specific Deity mentioned will accompany you on your travel through the month of April: use its auspicious qualities! The chart for April is a ‘Fu Yin’ chart, which means that there is a little stagnation in general  this month. Though we find the West palace favourable to use.

West Palace, ruled by Black Tortoise Deity, especially to handle both sides of the law: as law-breaker or law-keeper. Through unconventional ways, Black Tortoise Deity solves problems, mysteries and is a master in getting the right contacts and winning trust, as well as achieving fame.

Sitting with your back to the West direction this month is suitable for: trading, marriage, moving into a new house, expanding a business, going for a long business journey, sending sales teams, making calls, sending troops to battle. You can expect all things to be good, anything can be accomplished.

Hexagram 45: Gathering (together)a hexagram that shows interdependency and people coming together, because of a shared ideal. There is great magnetism created in this situation which brings people together to share one vision. It is important to share your vision in a way so others understand and participate in it.

In business it is important to network in whatever way allows you, to expose your product or services to others. In relationships, this hexagram is about shared interests and enthusiasm rather than romance and intimacy.

Action: network(ing)

  1. Marisa says:

    Hi Henriette,
    Thanks for the information.
Can I ask you something? I have Wu Chen in Hour Pillar, well… is a Fu Yin, isn’t this less auspicious?

    • Henriette Driessens says:

Hello Marisa….thanks four your question. It means that you will contemplate on your (way of) thinking this month, it will be more a self reflection for you. I do not emphasise less auspicious, as I think it is a way of the Universe telling you to withdraw and think about yourself, your life, your thinking etc. Sometimes we need a ‘time-out’ to reflect on ourselves as well, which can be quite revealing! After that, we can step forward again with our new ‘learnings. Sending Qi, Henriette

  2. Marisa says:

Thank you a lot for your insight!
I completely agree with you: “…which can be quite revealing”! I think I’m already in that process. It can be quite painful sometimes, emotionally speaking, but also a discover… Once i’m entering in a 10Luck Pillar also Geng Chen (not Fu Yin but self-punishment) I’m wondering what is excpecting me:) One day at the time!

    • Henriette Driessens says:

Hi Marisa….personally, I experienced a Rooster/Rooster SP for 10 years and, even though I had a feeling of not moving on and felt a lot of self inflicted situations….the Universe taught me about all Chinese Metaphysics 24/7 during that time and it changed my life….

As for you: Dragon/Dragon, see to it, that you do not continue a habit from which you know it is wrong, this is the self inflicted punishment that you are looking at during that time. You can wear a precious stone named ‘Citrine’ to release the pressure of this Dragon/Dragon SP a bit. Maybe try it and see how it works for you!

Nothing is negative in this life, the Universe is trying to teach us something important! Sending Qi, Henriette

      • Marisa says:

Oh, I really appreciate your kindness, thank you!
I share your thought, the Universe “knows” what is doing. Most of the times what we want is not what we need, and the universe try to fix it:)
I’ll follow your advise. I’m a Ji You DM, they are friends maybe this will help. (even with a Zi :))
Well… That’s why Chinese Metaphysics is so interesting, the more we explore more addicted we became.
        Sheng Qi

Good luck Marisa! Sending Qi, Henriette

  3. Vijay says:

I also ren chen in hour pillar ,can I meditate ,as explained or refrain.
Thanks a lot for spreading qi.

    • Henriette Driessens says:

      Hello Vijay…..

From a theoretical point of view, so called self punishments in BaZi Charts: Dragon/Dragon, Pig/Pig, Rooster/Rooster, Horse/Horse are self inflicted behaviours that affect your daily life. You just have to find out what that negative behaviour is, and work on it like you work on a project, in order not to let this take you out of your center.

You can always meditate, command and take action with Qi Men Dun Jia and use the auspicious directions and timings. Calling upon a (heavenly) deity is exempt from anything and can always be done, that’s why they are heavenly matters!

Yes, you can meditate! Best, Henriette

  4. Rajeshree says:

The Yi stem in the centre is rather empty. is this purposeful? Any explanation for this? im new to this. Hope u can give more info on how to to read the Qi men chart. Thank you

    • Henriette Driessens says:

Hello Rajashree, with regards to the Yi stem, this is the way this month chart is calculated and composed, and if you look carefully, then you see that the center stem ends up in the South West with the Geng Stem. If you want to learn to read a QiMen chart, I recommend you to take up a book or course! Its not ‘just done’ within days, you need months, years to interpret a chart! Good luck and sending Qi, Henriette

  5. Bogie says:

Hi, what are green, red, blue, black colors mean in this qmdj chart like in west palace there is red and blue color? Is it ok to sleep or do home office at west sector this month even there is 3killings star?

    • Henriette Driessens says:

Hello Bogie, the green (wood), red (fire), blue (water), black/grey (metal) and yellow (earth) represent the houses or directions and their elements. For the yearly recommendations, please read my blog post: https://theqifactory.com/2019/01/04/feng-shui-activations-in-2019/

The west is auspicious for career, wealth and literary pursuits and you can work or sleep there under certain circumstances: do not dig, nail or renovate in that area and be aware that the most effected animal for this is the cardinal animal Rooster. Also keep the noise level down: no loud music etc.

And with the directions for the month of April, we mean directions and not particularly area’s. You can double up the effect, if you use the west area and the west direction, however, be aware of the above mentioned ‘rules and regulations’ for the Three Killings areas.

      Sending Qi, Henriette

  6. mark says:

Hi Henriette – I have Wu Chen in my month pillar which makes a Fu Yin, right? I’m currently looking for a job. How will this affect my search?

    • Henriette Driessens says:

Hi Mark, it probably will give you more contemplation and thinking about your career, life path. Fu Yin means withdrawal from the hectic life, so to say, and be more in yourself, take time for yourself. Maybe your question is: am I on the right track, what do I want, is this the right job for me, where do I want to go? It does not affect your search, if you, yourself keep on taking action towards finding your job. Qi Planning is about: 1. meditation (contemplate within yourself, write down your goals and think about it), 2, commanding the Universe for what you want in life, and then the most important thing: 3. take action towards your goals. Use one of the timings of 9 and 11 april from the Qi planner to do these three things! Wishing you the best and sending Qi, Henriette

  7. Tam, Ngo Duc says:

    Hello Henriette,
Sorry for stupid question & poor English…but why West Palace with the Death Door can be Auspicious direction, Instead of N & NE direction with other auspicious doors (Rest & Open Door)? Thank you very much!

    • Henriette Driessens says:

Hello there, because we are addressing the support of Heavenly Matters, which are represented by the Deities. And this west palace has red structures, which mean a positive outcome of all actions that you take, for that specific direction. Death Door is about finishing something old and starting new projects or issues like ‘assets’. The North and North East direction do not have a positive outcome, even though the doors, which represent actions are good. So whatever your actions there, the outcome will not be so positive. Sending Qi, Henriette

  8. Theresa says:

Hi I have Wu Chen in my day and month what does it mean for me? Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

  9. Sandy says:

Hi. May I ask you, what does those three numbers represent from inside each palaces of qimen chart? Like in S palace there are 8 (on the bottom right corner), 6 (in the upper right corner) and 11 (circled) numbers. Thank you!

    • Henriette Driessens says:

Hello Sandy….South Palace: 8 in the bottom is the visiting number of that palace. The 6 is the strength of the Deity, where 7 is maximum and 11 is the strength of the Heaven plate element. For interpretation, I would recommend a Qi Men Dun Jia course, as this is advanced knowledge! Sending Qi, Henriette

  10. Marlina says:

Love the last part most where u even add on what is the next best action. This is a very helpful write-up! Tq!

    • Henriette Driessens says:

Thank you and glad you enjoy it Marlina! Sending Qi, Henriette
